SSL Transition
As an extra measure of security, GQueues has transitioned to using SSL (a secure, encrypted connection) for all communication between GQueues and your Google Calendar and Contacts. In most cases, for individual users, this transition will be transparent and not require any action. For organizations with GQueues installed on their Google Apps domain a simple authorization by the domain administrator is all that is required.
Google Apps SSL Transition
To ensure a smooth transition to SSL for Calendar and Contacts communication your Google Apps domain administrator should perform the following:
1. Go to your Google Apps Admin Dashboard
2. Locate GQueues and click on View and grant access next to the notification
3. Click Grant data access to update your authorization
Data access will now display as Granted and you're finished!
Individual User SSL Transition
The transition to SSL for Calendar and Contacts communication should be seamless for most individual users.
However, if you notice that your tasks are no longer syncing with your Google Calendar you can simply deactivate and re-activate calendar integration in GQueues Settings to get syncing back on track and ensure a SSL connection is used.
