GQueues for Google Calendar

The GQueues for Google Calendar Chrome Extension allows you to view additional task details and mark tasks complete directly from Google Calendar.

Install the Extension

The GQueues for Google Calendar Chrome Extension is available only for GQueues users with a paid subscription or free trial account.

Click the button below to install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

When prompted, click Add.

Once installed, open or reload Google Calendar and you will be prompted to connect your GQueues account.

Click the Connect GQueues Account button to complete the process.

View Task Details

Click on a task in Google Calendar and the details window will open.

With the extension installed additional task info is automatically shown including tags, repeating info, the number of subtasks, and a link to the task in GQueues.



Mark Tasks Complete

Click on a task in Google Calendar and the details window will open.

A checkbox will appear next to the title of the task.

Click the checkbox to mark the task complete.

If the task is already marked complete, you can click the checkbox again to mark the task open.

If the task has subtasks, you will be alerted and prompted before marking the task and all subtasks complete.



Connect Account

When you first install the extension you will be prompted to connect it to your GQueues account.

If you choose to do this later, or want to connect another account, sign in to Google Calendar with the desired account, open the gear menu and choose GQueues Settings.

In the settings window click the Connect GQueues Account button.



Disconnect Account

To disconnect the extension from your GQueues account open the gear menu in Google Calendar and choose GQueues Settings.

In the settings window click the Disconnect button.

Once disconnected, additional task details and the "mark complete" checkbox will no longer appear when the event details window is shown.

Activate Calendar Integration

In order to use the extension, you must also activate Google Calendar Integration, which creates a "GQueues" calendar in Google Calendar that contains all your tasks from GQueues that have dates or times.

If Calendar Integration is not activated for your GQueues account, you can activate it directly from Google Calendar.

Open the gear menu in Google Calendar and choose GQueues Settings.

Then click the Activate integration button.

Once integration is activated, a new "GQueues" calendar will appear.
