Security

We are committed to keeping our customer’s data secure. We’ve aligned our practices with strict security measures to ensure your data is protected in a service you can trust. Your data is your own, and we take the responsibility of protecting it very seriously.

Infrastructure and Data Centers

The entire GQueues service is built on Google App Engine which is part of the Google Cloud Platform. This means GQueues runs on the same infrastructure and servers used by Google for their own products and services. Follow the links to read more about the certifications and security provided by Google Cloud Platform.

All content (task info) entered by users is stored in Google Cloud Datastore. All task attachments are stored in the user’s own Google Drive account, including emails attached to tasks using the GQueues for Gmail Chrome Extension.

Redundancy

The GQueues service and user data is co-located in multiple Google data centers across the United States. This enables GQueues to provide industry-leading disaster protection and uptime. If issues arise in one location, traffic is instantly re-routed to other healthy data centers. This redundancy also protects user data from any loss caused by disasters or hardware failures in a particular data center.

Encryption

All data entered in GQueues is encrypted during transmission from the user’s computer to the Google servers. Transmission occurs over a secure connection (HTTPS) with 128-bit encryption. All user data is stored and encrypted at rest in Google’s data centers to provide maximum security. No user data is stored on GQueues' premises.

Google Integrations

GQueues is proud to be a Google Cloud Technology Partner and strives to offer seamless integration with several Google products. GQueues uses the Google OAuth 2.0 Sign-In API to allow users to login with their Google credentials. GQueues does NOT have access to, nor store any Google Account or Google Workspace account passwords. Integration with Google Calendar, Google Drive, Gmail and other Google products is achieved using Google APIs and only works once the user has authorized GQueues to access these products.

Backups

All user-generated content is instantly replicated to multiple Google data centers in different geographic locations as part of the Google Cloud Datastore service. GQueues also maintains weekly backups of all user data, which are stored in Google Cloud Storage. Users can also export a backup of their entire account at any time by following these steps.

Employee Background Checks

All employees are required to pass a background check before starting employment at GQueues, including a criminal background check and identity verification.

Data Access Policy

All GQueues employees are required to sign and adhere to our security and data confidentiality policies, and access rights and levels are based on their job function and role, using the concepts of least-privilege and need-to-know to match access privileges to defined responsibilities.

Bug and Vulnerability Reporting

Responsible Disclosure

Security of user data and communication is extremely important to GQueues. In pursuit of the best possible security for the GQueues service, we welcome responsible disclosure of any vulnerability you find in GQueues. Principles of responsible disclosure include, but are not limited to:

  • Accessing or exposing only customer data that is your own.
  • Avoiding scanning techniques that are likely to cause degradation of service to other customers (e.g. by overloading the site).
  • Keeping within the guidelines of our Terms Of Service.
  • Keeping details of vulnerabilities secret until GQueues has been notified and had a reasonable amount of time to fix the vulnerability.

We do not have a bug bounty program at this time.
